Jimmy Eddie Asizua with whom they have six children (three biological and three adopted).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eShe studied at Mbarara Junior and Rwetanga primary schools; Rutooma Senior School for O-level and, Kibubura Girls for A-level. She later joined Uganda College of Commerce,\u003cbr\u003eKabale, for a Diploma in Business Studies (UDBS) of Makerere University Business School.\u003cbr\u003eShe has a Bachelors Degree in Procurement and LogisticsManagement (BPLM) of Nkumba University.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCol. Nakalema did Basic Military Training at Kabamba; and Officer Cadet Course, in Jinja barracks (the current Senior Staff and Command College, Kimaka). She later, undertook\u003cbr\u003ethe Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC21) at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe did National Security and Strategic Studies Course,\u003cbr\u003eintake-one, at the National Defence College of Uganda (NDC-U1). She also holds a Master of Security Strategy (MASS) of Makerere University. She was a Finance Officer of Presidential Guard Brigade (PGB) and later on a Director of Finance for Special\u003cbr\u003eForces Command (SFC). In 2013, she was appointed a Personal Assistant to H.E. President Museveni and later as his Private Secretary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2018, Col. Nakalema was appointed a Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) and a pioneer head of State House Anti-Corruption Unit (SHACU). She is currently, the SPA and pioneer head of State House Investors Protection Unit (SHIPU). On 14th Sept. 2025, Col. Nakalema received an Award of Excellence from the World Book of Records, for her contribution towards a corruption free Uganda, and for inspiring integrity in the youth.
